Inside Beer’s St Michael’s Church are two oak tablets, one commemorating the fallen of the First World War, the other those who fell in the second.

Embracing the inscription on the Great War tablet is a figure of the Crucifixion. The inscription reads: “Let us remember Before God the men from this parish who gave their lives in the Great War 1914-1919.
